Hello From South Africa, stay well.
Let me take a moment to introduce you to a most talented and dedicated lady, Niqui. I have been working with her to find a way to raise funds, so she may continue an amazing program she started with children in South Africa. Niqui and the kids in South Africa filmed this short video clip.
Kids in the Nest Educational Society (KITNES) hopes to raise the necessary funds for Niqui to continue this film project with the children. KITNES is sharing Niquis' video shorts, with children in Canada. We can't think of a better way for children to be creative and share their lives from continents far apart.

A Message from Niqui du Plessis
Some time ago I began developing a project called My Wild Life. The idea basically was to spend time with a couple of youngsters who live in a rural African village and whose lives are immediately affected by a nature reserve that they live near. In December I managed to scrape together the funds for a trip to Mashatu Game Reserve in Botswana where a camera crew and I spent 10 days with Ontlafetse and Tegogo, two youngsters from the local village.
Each of the children had a family member who worked at the game farm. We managed to capture some lovely footage and have put together a couple of examples of what we could do to allow them to share their own unique environment with their peer group around the world. My vision is broad. I want to connect children all over Africa with children all over the world. A peer to peer communication “broadcast” where children are talking about, documenting and broadcasting their experiences to each other.
Warm Regards
Niqui du Plessis
